The Swans and Rainbow Swans are proud to announce the Club will again take part in this year’s Mardi Gras Parade.
It follows Swans players and coaching staff taking part in the parade in recent years, joining athletes from other sporting codes to say no to homophobia in sport.
A limited number of spots will be allocated to 2019 Rainbow Swans financial members, determined via a ballot. All 2019 Rainbow Swans financial members have the opportunity to express their interest in being part of the lottery as part of the membership enrolment process until Friday 8 February 2019. Results of the ballot will be sent out on Monday, 11 February 2019 to all members who entered the ballot. Successful entrants have until Friday 16 February 2019 to complete their registration. Should any additional spaces become available, an addition draw will be conducted from the original entries.
Important to note:
One (1) entry per 2019 Rainbow Swans financial member.
Successful applicants will only be permitted one (1) entry into the parade.
Successful applicants will be required to pay an entry fee. This entry fee will cover your costume for the event. Costing will be announced shortly.
Successful applicants are non-transferable. If the successful applicant is unable to participate there will be a re-draw for the available position.
